Dr. Billi is an expert in degradation of biomaterials in simulated physiological environment as well as in mechanical and non-destructive characterization of materials for biomedical applications.
RESEARCH AREA
Dr. Billi's current research area concern bone biology; materials and medical devices biocompatibility and immunology; anti-infective strategies; tribology; biomaterials and smart materials; 3D bioprinting; wearable orthopaedic devices and technologies.
